The WolfPack women’s soccer team is again ranked second in the nation this week, trailing only Indiennes d’Ahuntsic of Montreal. The women defeated the Capilano University Blues and the Vancouver Island University Mariners on the weekend to maintain their ranking.
The men’s soccer team, which fell into third place in the national rankings last week, is back in second after a win against the VIU Mariners on the weekend. The Seneca Sting, of the Ontario Colleges Athletic Association, holds the top spot.

The first cross country rankings of the season have the WolfPack women’s cross-country team ranked 15th in the nation.
The WolfPack and the UBC-Okanagan Heat are the only two Pacific Western Athletic Association teams in the rankings.

Josh MacDonald of the WolfPack men’s hockey team has been named the B.C.
Intercollegiate Hockey League’s player of the week for the week ending Sept. 29.
MacDonald had six goals in two games over the weekend against the University of Victoria Vikes, with five coming in Friday’s game.
The WolfPack’s Duncan Schulz and Stephen Wolff were among the finalists for the award.
