The Kamloops YMCA-YWCA is looking for people who make the world a more peaceful place.
The Y Peace Medal goes each year to someone who shows a commitment to peace in Kamloops or overseas by promoting respect, interconnectedness and positive action.
Past winners include the Rotary Clubs of Kamloops, Sa-Hali Secondary Me to We and Louise Richards of the Elizabeth Fry Society.
The medal will be awarded during YMCA Peace Week, Nov. 16-23.
A nomination form and details are available at kamloopsy.org/peace. The deadline is Oct. 23.
