I am status. What about my rights under the Indian Act? They have never been used to hunt in or out of season.
Those dead animals would have provided sustenance to any of the near and hand reserves.
Those people caught for allegedly doing that, I want the attorney general to have them tried in a B.C. court and judged by a jury of citizens living in that area of B.C.
If they can be protected by their rights and freedoms, then I want the law to protect mine, too.
