The annual Kamloops Santa Claus Parade is approaching quickly — it’s on Saturday, Nov. 30, with Wake-Up Santa at 10:30 a.m. and the parade beginning at 11 a.m.
This amazing community event is a great way for local businesses to connect with the public and embrace the holiday spirit.
This year’s theme is focused on a green Christmas: The 4 Rs of Christmas — Reduce, Reuse, Recycle . . . and Rudolph.
We are inviting everyone to participate, to ensure the 2013 annual Kamloops Santa Claus parade is an enjoyable time for everyone; both community groups and businesses.
We want to give huge thanks to everyone that has already signed up, as well as Kamloops Square Management for sponsoring the first 25 non-profit for free. We have only 45 spots left of our total 75. If you are interested in participating this year, you can register at www.christmastown.ca.
Live marching bands really make a parade exciting. We have an opportunity to host the Burnaby North secondary marching band, however we need a sponsor to offset their transportation costs.
Anyone who would like to sponsor this wonderful band, which has been in many Grey Cup parade and Rogers Santa Claus parades can contact out office.
We also have sponsorships available for the float awards. Anyone interested, can contact the KCBIA at 250-372-3242 or visit www.christmastown.ca for more information.
