A stabbing incident on the river shore off Don Street sent two men to hospital at about 7 p.m. Thursday, police said.
"Investigation revealed that two local males, ages 31 and 27, were involved in a fight that resulted in one male being struck over the head and the other male sustaining multiple non-life-threatening stab wounds," Sgt. Dave Prentice said.
Both were taken to the hospital. One was treated and released, while the other was still there Friday morning.

Three masked men with baseball bats attacked two other men at a home on Leigh Road just after midnight, Kamloops RCMP reported Friday.
Police were called at 12:30 a.m. by a woman who said two friends, ages 31 and 37, were being assaulted.
The victims sustained head injured and were taken away by ambulance.
"The victims refused to co-operate with police and intimated that they knew their attackers," Sgt. Dave Prentice said.
