Low-income families offered help with electrical bills

Low-income families can save money on their energy bill by using free energy saving kits provided B.C. Hydro, the Kamloops Food Bank and Fortis B.C.

The kits are available to families supported by the food bank and can be collected from the 171 Wilson St. location Wednesday and Thursday from 9 a.m. to noon.

Families who visit the food bank for a kit will also receive a coupon for a free bottle of liquid laundry detergent.
