A man spotted checking out parked cars on Linden Avenue faces a charge of possession of stolen property.
Kamloops RCMP were called to the area at 8 p.m. Wednesday and arrested the 30-year-old.
Officers found he had a stolen credit card and external cellphone battery. The credit card had already been used to make fraudulent purchases.
"RCMP would like to remind the public to keep valuables out of their vehicles, keep their vehicles locked and to report suspicious persons in their neighbourhoods," Sgt. Edward Preto said.
