    Unidentified man run over by car and killed in Pickering, east of Toronto

    PICKERING, Ont. - Police are still trying to identify a man who was run over and killed by a car in Pickering, east of Toronto.

    The incident occurred early Saturday night.

    Police say a 30-year-old woman from Pickering was driving her SUV on Kingston Road when she hit the man as he tried to cross.

    The victim died in hospital.

    Police say the man is between 55 and 65 years old, is about 5'7", and has grey-reddish hair and beard.
