CGI Group Inc. (TSX:GIB.A). Information technology. Up $1.06, or 5.16 per cent, at $21.60 on 1,037,542 shares. CGI said it has high hopes for continuing to grow its U.S. health-care business even if the Supreme Court invalidates Obamacare later this year. The U.S. high court recently held hearings in which the justices asked blistering questions that prompted many observers to suggest it would repeal the president's signature legislation.
Nexen Inc. (TSX:NXY). Oil and gas. Up 10 cents, or 0.53 per cent, at $19.10 on 2,655,123 shares. Nexen is looking to shore up investor confidence after years of disappointing performance at its Long Lake oilsands project, the energy company's interim CEO told shareholders Wednesday.
