    Couple arrested in B.C. accused of crimes in Alberta, Saskatchewan

    VICTORIA - Police say they have arrested and charged a Saskatchewan couple they allege is responsible for a string of crimes across two provinces.

    Victoria police say they found a 29-year-old woman on Thursday in a van that had been stolen in Zehner, Sask.

    A 32-year-old man police say was the woman's accomplice was located a short time later and also arrested and charged.

    Further investigation found the two were wanted on 18 outstanding warrants and criminal charges, mostly related to property crimes in Saskatchewan.

    The pair are also accused of a break and enter in Drumheller, Alta.

    Numerous charges are pending.
