Prince Charles, Camilla have varied itinerary for May 20-23 visit to Canada

OTTAWA - Prince Charles and his wife, Camilla, have a varied itinerary for their May 20-23 Canadian tour, including a citizenship ceremony in Saint John, N.B., and a military commemoration in Toronto.

The two are to arrive in Saint John on May 20 and depart from Regina on May 23.

While in Saint John, they are also to visit Canadian Forces Base Gagetown and take part in Victoria Day festivities.

They fly to Toronto on May 21, where they will view Victoria Day fireworks.

The following day, Prince Charles will present Diamond Jubilee medals and later meet leaders of the Assembly of First Nations, while his wife visits the Queen's Own Rifles of Canada, a militia unit of which she is honorary colonel-in-chief.

On May 23, they will be in Regina where they will tour the First Nations University and meet Prime Minister Stephen Harper and Gov. Gen. David Johnston.
