Fourteen-year-old boy accused in sexual assaults on women in central B.C.

WILLIAMS LAKE, B.C. - A 14-year-old boy will be facing sex charges after complaints from several woman in Williams Lake, B.C.

The RCMP say the boy was arrested but has since been released from custody to his guardian under strict conditions, and will be monitored by police and his bail supervisor.

They say he will appear in court later to face charges of sexual assault.

Because of his age, his name won't be released.

Police say the arrest came after they investigated several incidents in which women complained of being confronted or touched inappropriately while out in public last month.
