MAPLE RIDGE, B.C. - A man who owns a home with a daycare in Maple Ridge, B.C., has been charged with sexual assault and sexual interference.
Forty-eight-year-old Edgar Hernandez was charged after a girl claimed she'd been touched inappropriately at Dragonfly Daycare.
Hernandez's wife told Vancouver radio station News1130 the claims against her husband are all false and the daycare is still open.
Hernandez has been released on bail and been ordered to stay away from places like parks and playgrounds.
He's also not allowed to do a job where he'll have contact with kids under the age of 16. (News1130)
