PRINCE GEORGE, B.C. - A 21-year-old Edmonton, Alta., man has been identified as the victim of a fiery head on crash near Prince George, B.C.
RCMP confirm Benjamin Patrick Brown died Wednesday morning when his Ford Mustang veered into the path of an oncoming pickup truck on Highway 16, about 30 kilometres east of Prince George.
The Mustang burst into flames on impact, but a passenger in Brown's car managed to escape.
The passenger and two Quesnel, B.C., residents in the oncoming pickup truck were treated for various injuries.
One of the Quesnel victims remains in hospital, but all three survivors are expected to make a full recovery.
Mounties are now searching for witnesses to the crash and would like to speak to any drivers who were following the Mustang or the pickup before the crash.
