    Three people charged in police chase and shooting in West Kelowna

    WEST KELOWNA, B.C. - Charges have been laid against two men and a woman involved in a high-speed police chase and shooting in West Kelowna, B.C.

    Michael Ellis, Shawn Wysinski and Ashley Collins face three counts each of attempted murder with a firearm.

    Ellis and Wysinski face four additional charges.

    RCMP Cpl. Dan Moskaluk says firearms were seized at the crime scene.

    The three are accused of shooting at police Tuesday afternoon in a chase that started in West Kelowna and ended in Vernon.

    They are all in custody and will appear in court on Aug. 9. (CKFR)
