SURREY, B.C. - A toddler has fallen to her death from an apartment building in Surrey, B.C.
RCMP Sgt. Paul Reshaur says the incident happened at about 8:15 Thursday evening.
He says the investigation is continuing but it appears to be a tragic accident.
The little girl was able to walk out onto a balcony through an open door and climbed over the ninth floor railing.
She tumbled onto a second floor canopy above the building's entrance.
Paramedics rushed the toddler to hospital but she was pronounced dead just over an hour later. (CKNW, News1130)
