    Laurikainen makes 28 saves as the Broncos down the Giants

    VANCOUVER - Eetu Laurikainen stopped 28 shots as the Swift Current Broncos downed the host Vancouver Giants 3-1 on Friday in Western Hockey League play.

    Levi Bews had a goal and an assist for the Broncos (13-15-5) while Ryon Moser and Adam Lowry each scored once.

    Riley Keiser scored the lone goal for the Giants (8-21-0), who sit last in the WHL standings, and Payton Lee made 24 saves in a losing cause.

    Neither club could score with the man advantage as Swift Current went 0 for 1 and Vancouver went 0 for 3 on the power play.
