I am delighted to hear about Kamloops-North Thompson MLA Terry Lake's public reassurance that all the money for the capital costs has been set aside (Hospital Upgrades Take Time And Planning, The Daily News, Nov. 6). I hope the same is true for the operating costs of the first stage of the clinical services parking building. It should require little or no operating costs with parking fees and hopefully lease charges to the Kelowna medical school but this will not be the case for the subsquent phase. With this reassurance forthcoming we should make sure that Lake stays in cabinet for a long time to come.
