A festively decorated freight train arrives in Kamloops Thursday for the latest stop on the CP Holiday Train tour. The trains arrive at 6:15 p.m. at the north side of the Interior Savings Centre on a mission to stock food bank shelves and entertain audiences with live music. This year's headline act is the Canadian music legend Valdy, who will perform an outdoor concert. Admission is free but audiences are encouraged to bring a food donation for the Kamloops Food Bank. Prior to making its stop in Kamloops, the train pulls into Chase at 4 p.m. across from the Chase RCMP detachment.
