There's a lot more to healthy living than eating well and exercising.

Eons ago, human beings realized that true wellness applies to the physical as well as mental and spiritual state. And mankind has long pursued that holistic path towards health.

This month, the Interior Wellness Festival explores ancient pursuits such as yoga, meditation, massage and shamanism while also offering mainstream health tips and classes in nutrition and fitness.

The fourth annual event has grown into the largest wellness gathering in the B.C. Interior with seminars, workshops, a healing garden, live entertainment, a cafÉ, a marketplace and more.

It all happens at the Thompson Rivers University Campus Activity Centre from Sept. 27 to 29. Admission is free.
