Kamloops builders returned from the Tommie Awards Gala in Kelowna with three gold trophies out of five finalists entered.

DW Builders won excellence in building renovations ($75,000 to $150,000) for their Woodhaven project. They also took the same category in the more than $300,000 range for the Insfeld project.

And a perennial winner was recognized again: Canadian Home Builders Association Central Interior and TRU's school of trades won the excellence in public or private partnership for the 2012 training house in the Hidden Trails development in Mount Dufferin.
