Police are going on the theory that at the time of her murder CJ Fowler was walking along Columbia Street between 2:50 a.m. and 6 a.m. on Dec. 5 as she made her way to the bus station for a trip home to Terrace.

Investigators are "looking for anyone who may have been out walking, driving or riding on Columbia Street between Third Avenue and Grandview Terrace," Staff Sgt. Grant Learned said.

Fowler may have been by herself, with another person or in a group, he said.

Police are still hoping to hear from residents in the area who have home security systems that have caught something on video.

Learned said the investigation is "proceeding favourably," but only a couple of tips have been since police last put out an appeal on Monday.
