Police looking for motorist who stopped to help unconscious man

Police are asking the motorist who helped an unconscious man near Lansdowne and Second to come forward.

On Sunday at about 12:30 a.m., a passing motorist in a pickup truck stopped to help the 21-year-old man before emergency crews arrived on the scene.

The man suffered a significant head injury and remains in hospital in stable condition, police said in a press release.

Anyone with information is asked to call RCMP at 250-828-3000 or call Crime Stoppers.
