RCMP continue to search for a man who robbed a Sahali pizza shop at knifepoint on the weekend.

A phone call to 911 dispatched officers to the Little Caesars on Summit Drive just before 10 p.m. Friday. Sgt. Nathalie Fehr said a man walked into the shop brandishing a knife and stole a small amount of cash.

Constables set up a perimeter and searched the area with a police dog, but the suspect eluded capture, said Fehr.

She said the culprit wore winter clothing and his face was partially covered. There is no further description.

Anyone with information is asked to contact RCMP at 250-828-3000 or Crime Stoppers.
