Rotary set to serve dinner with music to seniors

Kamloops West Rotary Club plays host to its annual Seniors Dinner on Saturday at Desert Gardens, 540 Seymour St., marking the 29th year the club has hosted a free turkey dinner for seniors.

The event is open to any senior. To attend, simply call Rotary member Andy Miller at 250-371-0977 to get a free ticket. Rotary members will also provide transportation to and from Desert Gardens for those seniors that require it.

Doors open at 4 p.m. and dinner is served at 5 p.m. Rotary club members and Chapters Viewpoint restaurant prepare the dinner.

Musician Jesse Jones is the evening's entertainment.
