All ages are welcome to come lawn bowling at McArthur Island. No equipment is required, comfortable clothes and flat soled shoes are recommended. At the Kamloops Therapeutic Riding Association we transform limitations into limitless possibilities. Individuals at KTRA are given the opportunity to enhance both their physical and psychological well being. The use of horses as therapy tools is becoming more in demand as health care professionals document the results showing increased self confidents, self awareness and teamwork not to mention the inspiring physical transformations.
Each day will be filled with time spent with each child's “own” special horse. This includes 1 hour of riding time split between arena lessons and exciting trail rides. Camp goers will learn a wide variety of horsemanship skills on and off the horse and will partake in all the day to day horse care that each horse requires.
All Camps are Co-Ed and are designed to meet the needs of campers ages 7 to 15.

The Walhachin Museum is now open for the summer season. Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Friday to Monday, until end of September.
