Artists! Whether you are submitting your artwork for a gallery exhibit, art fair or other event, or you want to market your work with effective images, learn how to take photos that make your art look as good as it does in person. Get the edge. No matter your medium - paint, clay, fibre, jewellery, printmaking, all are welcome.
This workshop may be of particular interest to artists wanting to apply to exhibit and sell work the KAC Juried Art Show (deadline Jan. 26) and Art in the Park (earlybird deadline Feb. 1; final deadline March 16).
Robert D. Clark has been around photography all his life. His father was a reporter and award-winning press photographer. Bob worked with film companies, broadcast television and education multimedia production for 40 years. He recently opened his own studio to create portraits with a unique style. Bob began his formal education at the British Columbia Institute of Technology and later participated in a variety of workshops by major photographers.

January 13 at 5:00pm - Community Dinner at the North Shore Community Centre open to all adults. Roast Beef buffet dinner served by JamCan Cafe, and live entertainment by the groovy sounds of Hypnotic Blend. Tickets are $15 and should be purchased in advance at the front desk by Friday, January 11. Please call 250-376-4777 for more information if needed. 730 Cottonwood Ave in the Cottonwood Manor Complex. Note: there will be a special performance by the Kamloops Old-Time Fiddlers following this Dinner at 7:00pm. This is a free concert open to all.
