The TRU WolfPack and Brandon Bobcats men's volleyball teams always seem to play each other tough, and it appears as though this weekend's doubleheader will provide much of the same.
The WolfPack, ranked No. 7 in the CIS rankings, will play the No. 5 Bobcats on Friday, 7:45 p.m., and Saturday, 6:45 p.m., at the Tournament Capital Centre. The matches will be the first of the second half for both teams, neither of which has played a conference match since the end of November.
TRU (8-4) is tied for third in Canada West, with the Bobcats (7-5) in fifth.
"They are ahead of us in the CIS rankings and one win behind us after the first half," said TRU head coach Pat Hennelly in a news release. "We have very similar schedules and this is a team we will be neck-and-neck (with) down the stretch."

It's a rare Thursday-Friday set for the WolfPack basketball teams, who are off to Regina and Brandon for two games each.
Both teams are to play against the Cougars in Regina tonight, before heading to Brandon to play the Bobcats on Friday.
The WolfPack women (6-4) will be playing teams on opposite ends of the spectrum - Regina is 8-2 and tied for second in the Prairie Division, while Brandon is 2-8, and last.
TRU's men, who are 6-4, will be playing a pair of 2-8 teams.
The games will be the first conference action for the WolfPack following the December break for exams and Christmas.
