If you love beer - and who doesn't? - a visit to the Noble Pig is in order, especially on June 30 at 6 p.m.
Beer connoisseur and author Joe Wiebe will be signing copies of his new book, Craft Beer Revolution: The Insider's Guide to B.C. Breweries, at the Kamloops pub that night.
The Victoria-based writer dives deep into B.C.'s beer-brewing history in his book, while providing readers with a tour of the province's flourishing craft-beer industry.
Wiebe profiles 50 breweries (including Kamloops' own Noble Pig), adding maps, recommendations for taste tours and interviews with key members of the industry.
He even includes a section on women in the craft beer scene and tasting notes on more than 100 beers.
Salivating, yet? We are - especially since Noble Pig brewmaster David Beardsell is preparing a special cask-conditioned beer to coincide with the book signing.
We can all taste the new brew and get a signed copy of Wiebe's book for $19.95. Wiebe is also expected to talk about the craft beer industry at the signing.
