Symphony, Rubes celebrate legacy

Two Kamloops groups of musicians will be gathering Saturday evening to celebrate a local legacy.

Kamloops Symphony and Kamloops Rube Band are presenting the Dick Dickens Legacy Concert at 7:30 p.m. in Sagebrush Theatre.

Due to its overwhelming popularity, the symphony and the Rube Band will open the Saturday afternoon rehearsal at 1 p.m. in Sagebrush Theatre to the public as well.

This is a working rehearsal so the audience should expect the performers to be in casual dress and will be stopping and starting as they work on the finished product.

There are only a handful of the free tickets left for the event on Saturday night and are available at Kamloops Live! Box Office and at the door. For more information, contact the Kamloops Symphony at 250-372-5000.
